Frequently asked questions
01 What materials are used in manufacturing TP Display custom retail fixtures, and what are the size capabilities?
We specialize in manufacturing custom retail fixtures by engineering combinations of heavy-duty metals (steel, aluminum), commercial-grade wood (MDF, solid wood), and premium acrylics, ensuring maximum load-bearing capacity and structural stability for demanding retail environments. Our vertically integrated factory handles the complete fabrication process, accommodating everything from compact countertop point-of-purchase units to heavy-duty floor gondolas up to 2.5 meters tall.
02 Which retail sectors and store environments are your custom POP displays best suited for?
Our custom Point of Purchase (POP) displays and store fixtures are specifically engineered for high-traffic commercial environments, including global supermarket chains, hardware stores, consumer electronics showrooms, and automotive parts retailers. We precisely customize the shelving pitch, material thickness, and overall structural design to match your specific merchandise weight requirements and available retail floor footprint.
03 Do your custom retail displays require specific certifications for US and EU customs, and what compliance standards do you support?
Standard retail displays and store fixtures generally do not require specific compliance certifications for US or EU customs clearance. We rely on strict internal quality control to guarantee structural integrity and defect-free assembly for every container. However, to meet specific corporate sustainability goals, we can actively source FSC-certified wood materials and ensure all shipping packaging fully complies with the latest European PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) standards upon request.
04 What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for custom displays, and what are your standard manufacturing lead times?
The standard Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for our custom retail display manufacturing is 50 units per design, a baseline established to optimize your tooling investments and achieve cost-effective mass production pricing; some smaller items carry a higher minimum, shown on each product page. Prototyping and sample fabrication typically require 7-12 days, while mass production takes 20-25 days for orders under 500 pieces and 30-40 days above, counted from sample approval and deposit.
05 What warranty coverage and after-sales support do you provide for international container shipments?
We provide a comprehensive 12-month structural warranty on all custom retail fixtures, fully covering any manufacturing defects, welding failures, or material degradation that occur under normal commercial usage conditions. Should any components suffer transit damage or if hardware is missing upon container unboxing, our dedicated after-sales team will immediately expedite free replacement parts directly to your regional distribution center.
06 Can you work from our drawings, or do you also design?
Both. Send us a sketch, a CAD file or just a product sample and a photo of the retail environment. You hear back within one working day; our in-house design team then returns a 3D rendering and a structural drawing in about three working days, and we iterate until the unit fits your store footprint and brand guidelines.
07 What are your payment terms?
30% T/T deposit to start production, with the 70% balance settled before shipment. We also accept L/C at sight for orders above USD 50,000.
08 How are the displays packed for export?
Units ship knocked down or fully assembled depending on volume efficiency. Standard export packing is a 5-layer carton with foam, pearl wool and corner protectors; a plywood crate (non-fumigation) is available for heavy metal fixtures.
09 Do you handle shipping and customs documents?
Yes. We quote EXW, FOB or CIF and work with your forwarder or ours. Commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin are prepared for every shipment.
